Dash Pods (the "Game") is developed and published by Agniveer Corporation ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, process, and disclose your information when you play Dash Pods. It also describes your rights and choices regarding your data.
By installing, accessing, or using Dash Pods, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal data necessary to provide and improve the Game. The categories are described below.
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Credentials: If you sign in with Google, we receive your display name, email address, and profile picture from Google solely for authentication.
- Player Display Name: A name you choose (3–16 characters) displayed in-game. This is not tied to your real identity unless you choose to use your real name.
- Game Progress & Preferences: Coins, gems, levels, XP, hero upgrades, stars, mission progress, mail read/claim state, inventory, settings (audio, graphics), and tutorial completion status.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Identifiers: Advertising ID (Android), IP address, device model, OS version, and app version. Collected by Google AdMob and Firebase for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.
- Play Time: Total play time in seconds, stored locally and synced to cloud for profile display.
- Diagnostics & Performance: Non-personal crash and performance data processed by Google Play Services and Firebase SDKs. Note: Unity Cloud Diagnostics and Firebase Crashlytics are disabled.
- Ad Interaction Data: Ad views, clicks, and rewards claimed via Google AdMob.
1.3 Guest (Anonymous) Players
You can play without signing in. A temporary anonymous Firebase account is created. No email or personal identifier is required. This guest account persists locally and can be linked to a Google account later without data loss.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected data only for these purposes:
- Authentication: Verify your identity via Firebase Auth (Google Sign-In or anonymous).
- Game Features: Save and sync progress, leaderboards, unlocks, and settings across devices via Cloud Firestore.
- Economy & Balance: Remote Config adjusts game parameters (prices, difficulty, rewards) without requiring an update.
- Advertising: Serve rewarded video ads via Google AdMob. You can choose whether to watch ads for rewards.
- In-App Purchases: Process purchases through Google Play Billing (Unity IAP). We do not store payment card details.
- Fraud Prevention: Detect tampering and abuse using save-file integrity checks (HMAC-SHA256) and Firebase security rules.
- Support: Investigate issues you report using your stored game data.
3. Third-Party Services
Dash Pods integrates the following third-party services that process data under their own privacy policies:
Data collected by these services (device identifiers, IP address, advertising ID, app interactions) is governed by their respective policies. We encourage you to review them.
4. Data Storage & Retention
- Cloud Storage: Game progress is stored in Google Cloud Firestore (us-central1). Data is retained while your account is active.
- Local Storage: A JSON save file is stored on your device at
Application.persistentDataPath/playerProfile.json, protected with HMAC-SHA256 integrity verification. Promotional banner images are cached locally.
- Retention: We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Game. If you remain inactive for 24 months, we may delete your data. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8).
- Deletion: When you delete your account, all Firestore documents and authentication records are removed within 30 days. Local save files remain on your device until manually cleared via the in-game option.
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data:
- All network communication uses TLS/SSL encryption.
- Firestore security rules restrict access to authenticated users only, enforcing per-document ownership.
- Local save files are integrity-checked with HMAC-SHA256 to detect tampering.
- Authentication uses OAuth 2.0 (Google Sign-In) with ID token exchange to Firebase.
- Firebase App Check is available but not yet enforced (planned).
Despite these measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Children's Privacy
Dash Pods is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at the email below.
7. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
7.1 European Economic Area (GDPR)
- Right to Access: Request a copy of your data.
- Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request deletion of your data.
- Right to Restrict Processing: Limit how we process your data.
- Right to Data Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Right to Object: Object to processing for direct marketing (including advertising).
- Consent Withdrawal: Withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
7.2 California (CCPA / CPRA)
- Right to Know: Request details about the categories of personal information collected, used, and disclosed.
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you.
- Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Note: We do not sell personal information. AdMob may serve personalized ads; you can opt out via device settings (Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization).
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.
7.3 How to Exercise Your Rights
Email us at agniveer171103@gmail.com with your request. We will respond within 30 days. We may request additional information to verify your identity before processing your request.
8. Advertising & Opt-Out
Dash Pods uses Google AdMob to display rewarded video ads. AdMob may collect and use data for personalized advertising based on your advertising ID and interests.
- Opt out of ads personalization on Android: Open Settings > Google > Ads > Enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization".
- Opt out on iOS: Enable "Limit Ad Tracking" in Settings > Privacy > Tracking.
- GDPR Consent: Players in the EEA will be shown a consent dialog via Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) on first launch. You may accept or reject personalized advertising.
Non-personalized ads are still served after opting out.
9. International Data Transfers
Data collected through Dash Pods may be stored and processed in the United States (Google Cloud Firestore us-central1) and other locations where Google's infrastructure operates. When data is transferred from the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission) are in place.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and the "Last Updated" date will be revised. If material changes are made, we will notify you via the Game (e.g., a prompt on launch). Continued use after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
